The Synopsis
Lions For Lambs
“Lions for Lambs” is a 2007 movie directed by Robert Redford, and stars Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Andrew Garfield and Robert Redford. It tells the story of three interweaving stories, with characters connected by political events in the War on Terror. The first story involves a U.S. Senator (Cruise) attempting to persuade a journalist (Streep) to publish a major story that could change public opinion on the War. The second story follows a professor (Redford) as he tries to inspire one of his brightest students (Garfield) to take action. The third story focuses on two U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan who are faced with a moral dilemma. The movie explores themes of politics, war, responsibility, and leadership.
