The Synopsis
NEVER LET ME GO
“Never Let Me Go” is a science fiction film from 2010 based on the novel of the same name by Kazuo Ishiguro. The film stars Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley, and Andrew Garfield, and is set in a dystopian alternate history where human clones are raised for the purpose of organ donation. The film follows the lives of three friends, Ruth, Kathy and Tommy, as they grow up and navigate their predetermined fate, which is to eventually donate their organs and die. The film explores themes of love, loss, identity and what it means to be human.
