The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
“The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” is a 2009 fantasy film directed by Terry Gilliam. The film stars Heath Ledger, Christopher Plummer, and Andrew Garfield, among others. The movie follows a traveling theater troupe led by Dr. Parnassus (Plummer), who offers audience members the chance to enter a magical mirror and explore their imaginations. When Parnassus makes a deal with the devil (Tom Waits), his daughter (Lily Cole) becomes the stakes in a bet between the two. As Ledger’s character joins the troupe and helps them on their journey, they encounter unexpected twists and turns.
