In the first episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 1, ten British drag queens entered the Werk Room to compete for the title of the UK’s first drag superstar. The queens were introduced and given their first challenge, which was to create a look that represented their hometowns.

The queens hit the runway to showcase their looks, and judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage and guest judges Alan Carr & Andrew Garfield provided feedback. The standout performances included Baga Chipz’s comedic take on a traditional English Rose, Divina De Campo’s colorful representation of her hometown of Brighouse, and The Vivienne’s striking homage to Liverpool.

After the runway, the queens faced their first lip sync battle, with Gothy Kendoll and Vinegar Strokes ending up in the bottom two. In the end, Gothy Kendoll was sent home after failing to impress in the lip sync. The episode concluded with the remaining queens reflecting on the challenges ahead and the importance of staying true to themselves in the competition.
