In Trial & Retribution Season 10, Episode 3, titled “Closure,” the investigation and trial revolves around the murder of a young woman named Rachel Callaghan. A young teenager, Martin Douglas (Andrew Garfield) who found her body seems to have something to hide.  After an reenactment at the scene of the crime, Martin appears to know more than he has let on. Shortly after being released he and his mother are run over by a car. 

The police arrest a man named Owen Pierce, who had been stalking Rachel, and charge him with the murder. During the trial, Owen maintains his innocence, and his defense lawyer presents evidence suggesting that Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, Mark, could be the real killer. However, the prosecution argues that Owen’s obsession with Rachel and his history of violence make him the most likely suspect…
